A/B split - Test that splits lists into two pieces, with every other name being sent version A of creative, with version B going to the other names. See also nth 

ASCII - Computer language applicable to magnetic tape or disk. 

Assumptive letter - a technique of presenting a letter offer making certain assumptions that the prospect is already pre disposed to wanting to purchase the product and/or service. 

Above The Fold - The part of an e-mail message or web page that is visible without scrolling. Material in this area is considered more valuable because the reader sees it first.
